As the opposition party battle it out with the ruling party over IEBC, Ababu Namwamba abandoned politics for a while, to have remarkable family time with his wife and kids. Really touching, isn’t it?
His wife, Priscah, took to her Facebook page to laud the politician for devoting time to take care of her before and after she gave birth to their third baby.

Noting that he is simply a rare gem, she called the Budalang’i MP the best man anyone could have. She said:
“The best dad ever… He has been there for us since the birth of our baby, providing the care and love one requires after delivery.”
Priscah said the MP has had sleepless nights but has taken care of their baby with complete sincerity and commitment. Going gaga for her husband, she also wrote:
“He is our blessing. Our rock. We love and cherish him. He always puts us FIRST, his incredibly busy lifestyle notwithstanding. He is a living proof that even politicians can have a life. A fulfiling FULL life. Thank you God for this precious gift.”
There is no doubt that Ababu Namwamba has his family at heart. He has always shared wonderful moments with his wife Priscah and their three kids, the third coming in few months ago.
In fact, if what we see on social media is anything to go by, then there is no other member of parliament, elected or even appointed leader, who we think matches up to Ababu Namwamba in making out time for family. But of course we know this cannot be a conclusive measure of quality family time in the families of our politicians.
As for Ababu Namwamba, we’ve seen several pictures of himself with his wife, taking time away from the kids, for some romance and quality marriage time. From enjoying ice-cold water on the beaches of Iceland, to sun-bathing on the sands of Dubai, we’ve seen it all.

The couple has also been spotted on Lake Victoria, in Budalangi, together. Would it be wrong to assume that he loves his wife? And would it be hasty to judge his wife as perhaps the luckiest wife of a Kenyan lawmaker? We are guessing not.
