Evict President Uhuru And Let Me End Corruption Forever- Raila

CORD leader Raila Odinga has declared his intention against corruption and said he is willing to root it out of Kenya against all odds.

According to him, he is in to hit hard against corruption, even if police arrests him 100 times, because it has stolen from Kenyans millions of shillings under Jubilee’s leadership.

He  made this statement on Friday at Kanduyi Red Cross Hall in Bungoma where he met with ODM delegates on educating  locals on the mass voter registration exercise scheduled to end on March 15.

Referencing the Eurobond scandal as the largest which has rocked the country as well as the government, the Opposition leader said prevalent corruption has made things difficult for the entire country.

He noted:

“As Cord we are committed to fighting this monster and bringing change, which we have yearned for a long time, to the administration of this nation,” .

Raila also explained that unity is something his party will uphold and cherish within and outside it. He said his party will be united and division can’t be welcomed in their midst.

Speaking in Bungoma town yesterday, Raila also noted that he will pursue Kenyans’ liberation by  ensuring that he offers a government that is free of corruption sagas.

He added that some powerful politicians or government officials robbed the Sh250 billion Eurobond scandal the same way they borrowed it – from abroad.

He urged the government to arrest and charge everybody named in the NYS scandal.

CORD leader Raila Odinga maintained that the Jubilee Government is unable to stop corruption in the country, urging locals to vote the coalition out in next year’s election.

Raila said corruption in State institutions had become diffused through the country since 2013 when Jubilee formed the government.

Raila said his party has started fishing out disloyal members among them; adding that Bungoma county ODM chairman John Waluke (Sirisia MP) has been cautioned that action will be taken against him over allegedly working with the opposition.

“Any Cord soldier who turns his gun to shoot fellow soldiers is like a team player who tries to score an own-goal. That is an enemy and traitor who will be dealt with accordingly,”.

Bungoma Senator Moses Wetang’ula told county Cord members to remain loyal and not be deceived by tiny worthless gifts and cash as the party is sure of winning the presidency in the 2017 general election.

According to him:

“You cannot be an ODM county chairman yet everyday you are busy going to the Deputy President’s home in Sugoi for packages and brown envelopes,”.

Wetang’ula  begged all residents to come out in mass and back CORD because the leading coalition has failed woefully.

Wetang’ula said:

“because Jubilee has clearly shown Kenyans how not to run a country with the rampant corruption scandals that are escalating the cost of living“.

He further stated that his party is a team and would rejoice if any of its three principals emerged President.

Waluke was not part of the meeting as he is said to have traveled abroad for official meeting.

The leaders present during the meeting include, Kanduyi Member of Parliament Wafula Wamunyinyi, Budalang’i’s Ababu Namwamba and former Kanduyi MP Affred Khangati.
