Hospitals in Kenya : A Comprehensive List

Kenyans take healthcare very seriously, On the contrary, it was reported that Kenya spent 5.1% of its Gross Domestic Product (GDP) on healthcare in 2002. This was well below the high-income OECD (Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development) countries’ average of 9.8% for the same period. The total amount spent on healthcare stands at about US$6.2 per capita, which is way below the World Health Organisation’s (WHO) recommended level of US$34 per capita. The government of Kenya has y have pledged highly skilled doctors and nurses that are available around year round, 24 hours a day waiting to offer excellent health care services to everyone.
