On Friday, there was a mass fray that broke out in Jubilee party Nairobi meeting at Ufungamano house, Nairobi as members of ruling party punch and kick one another.
The brawl broke out when members of a different faction entered into the venue slamming the organisers for holding the meeting irregularly.
Then the members holding the Nairobi meeting surged across the room to confront them before they began digging in fists and elbows to cause wound the opposing members.
As fists flew, a few suited ministers hopped onto the desks to join the clash.
The other members opposing the meeting swore never to allow Mr. Mutinda Kavemba run the meeting.
The members described Mr. Mutinda Kavemba, a Nairobi Senatorial aspirant who had shoved off the Wiper Party as an “outsider”.
The fight continued as temper went up the wall and some deputies began shoving each other.
Those opposed to the meeting took over the centre stage and insisted never to leave unless the meeting was called off right there.
The Nairobi meeting was later cancelled with some of the leaders running for their lives as angry youth crammed into the scene and chased them away.
The scuffle ended but not without several ministers sustaining injuries.
The ministers accused a section of City leaders of paying good for nothing thugs to ruin the meeting.
Others claim that there are plans to replace them in their different positions in the ruling party.
The alleged meeting of the Nairobi Members of County Assembly and aspirants was organised to recognise those who want to decamp from other parties to the Coalition.
