Meet Usain Bolt’s girlfriend, the queen who cheered the athlete on as he wrote himself in the history book in Rio. Though she confessed she’s not ready for babies just yet, Usain Bolt’s sister has revealed that the sprinter will marry his Jamaican girlfriend after the Olympics.
The track star revealed earlier this year that he had a woman in his life and so is off the market for good.
Amazingly, the lucky woman is Jamaican fashionista, Kasi Bennett.
The 26-year-old stunner has allegedly been dating Bolt for two years.
During the Olympic games, she flooded her Twitter feeds with messages about her “love”.
While still in South America, she praised the extraordinary victories with great excitement, through her social media accounts.
‘My babbbbbbbbbbbyyyyyyyyyyy!!!’ she wrote after he won his 100m gold medal on Sunday night, adding ‘Wha dem a guh do yah now?’
She followed it with a series of cheering hands, Jamaican flags and love hearts with the hashtag ‘Living Legend’.
Then, when the seven-time Olympic winner added a third 200m gold to his collection, she wrote: ‘This level of pride is unfathomable.’
After the amazing achievement in the relay final, she captioned a picture of Usain kissing his medal with the phrase “Track immortality”.
Prior to the event, she said: ‘You know I’m never nervous. He always got it.’
Bolt though revealed they were “low key” he shared a picture of them together in New Kingston with a touching caption referring to the picture ass “President and First Lady” as they posed close to a quad bike.
Bolt, who is clearly proud of his better half, confessed that he had put in effort in a bid to keep her off the spotlight.
“I have tried my best to keep it on a certain level,” he said.
“I have explained to her that when it comes out it’s not gonna be as she thinks it’s gonna be. A lot of people will try to attack her so I tell her to just take it easy and let’s make sure that you’re ready for this,” he added.
However, his mum would so love it if he gets married soon, telling CNN last week that she’s ready for grandchildren:
“I would hope he’ll settle down, get married and start his family.
“I know he’ll settle down because he has said it. He told me many times that he’s going to start his family.”
While his mother might be keen to see her son’s babies, she may have to wait to hear the sound of the tiny feet around the house.
When a fan urged Kasi to get “Usain Jr” on the go, she replied: “you have quite the wait lol” (sic)
Speaking on the eve of the London Games, he said: ‘When I retire I’m going to build a massive house in the country with a huge bedroom which has a rotating bed in it and a sliding window to take in the sunset.
‘The house will have a lot of space, with a basketball court and a football pitch. Of course, by then I might have a wife too. I’d like to start a family but I’ll take my time to meet the right girl.”
‘If my first child is a boy I’ll warn him how hard athletics is, and I don’t just mean the training.’
Bolt explained it may be time to retire after another remarkable summer of sport – so we are probably going to hear wedding bells soon.
The sprinter turned 30 on Sunday and celebrated by partying until the early hours of the morning at All In, a club in the Barra de Tijuca suburb of Rio.
