The US President Elect Donald Trump, on Tuesday morning, staged an impromptu meeting with the American Rapper Kanye West at Trump Tower.
It was Kanye West’s second public appearance since he was discharged from the hospital in November after he was admitted for exhaustion.
According to reports, BuzzKenya gathered that West was captured by a C-Span Camera as he was entering the Manhattan building and getting on the elevator.
The spokesperson for the president-elect Trump, Hope Hicks, confirms the meeting, though no details were given about what West and Trump discussed.
West and Trump later returned to the Trump Tower Lobby together. “He’s a good man,” Trump said of the rapper. “We’ve been friends for a long time” When he was asked what they discussed, “Life” he said.
West, in turn, did not answer any questions about jokes of him running for president in 2020 or if he’d perform during Trump’s inauguration. “I just want to take pictures right now”, West said.
Notably, during a show in San Jose, West unleashed a 25-minute political screed where he said that if he’d voted in the 2016 Presidential Election, “he would’ve voted for Trump.”
Kanye West’s press statement about who he would’ve voted for during the just concluded presidential election now contradicts what his wife, Kim Kardashian’s choice was.
When Kim was asked whom she would vote for prior to the election Kim said,
“I found that without a doubt, I stand with Hillary. I’m with her. I believe Hillary will best represent our country and is the most qualified for the job. This year, I’m not just voting for myself, but also for my children, and I took that into careful consideration when I made my decision. Now that I have made my choice I want to be clear.”
Now we see how contradictory Kim and Kanye’s view are on the US Election. After this visit, we will be waiting for Kim’s reaction to Kanye’s revelation.
