If there is one thing you’ve got to love #KOT (Kenyans On Twitter) for, it’s their sense of humor and ability to turn something serious into a trending comical experience.
On Thursday the 5th of January 2017, President Uhuru Kenyatta took a trip to the coast region for the commissioning of the Buxton footbridge; which he stated to be a “non-motorized transport project in Mombasa”.

Speaking during the event, President Kenyatta said the project is timely as it would ensure safety for pedestrians as they go about their businesses. Unfortunately, #KOT were not in agreement with this and rather saw it as a publicity stunt; where the President decided to take advantage of developments in the region.
