In a raging anger, a woman burns husband with hot oil after a slight quarrel that allegedly caused by a controversial call from her pastor.
One of the family members who witnessed the incident said it all started when the women answered a controversial call from her pastor. No one knows what she was told in the call, but after the call fight erupted between the couple.
Fred Ochieng is being treated in Nairobi Women’s Hospital, Nakuru branch.
According to doctor’s report, the 23-year-old man after sustained 37 percent physical burns on his head, stomach, thighs, hands and abdomen. However, the woman has gone missing.
She is still at large and police in Nakuru is still looking for her to find out what led to her action.
Narrating the fight, Fred said he was watching TV at his brother’s house in Milimani estate Tuesday, September 27 when his wife poured hot oil on him.
His brother, Benson Waganda, admitted that the two were preparing to leave for Kisumu and he was in the bedroom when his brother cried out.
Crying out loud, his brother rushed him only to find him burnt as the woman jumped a motorcycle zipped off.
The brother claims what triggered the woman to commit the offence is a controversial call that she received from her pastor to which the husband inquired about the content of the call and the suspect ignored him.
Nakuru OCPD, Joshua Omukata says investigations are going on and the pastor may be invited for questioning if need be.
