Disturbing Video: Woman Live Streams Police Fatally Shooting Her Boyfriend

Two days ago, the internet went abuzz as a woman live streams a policeman gunning down her black boyfriend in the US state of Minnesota.

This happened even as demonstrations were still ongoing in Louisiana over a prior police killing of a black man.

In the video, we watch as Philando Castile’s woman live streams the shooting, showing her boyfriend covered in blood with the police officer’s gun still drawn.

In the video, recorded in Falcon Heights, Minneapolis, Lavish Reynolds, Castile’s girlfriend tells viewers that she and her boyfriend, Philando Castile, were pulled over in a traffic stop for a busted tail light by a white police officer.

She alleges that the cop asked Castile to present his license, but then shot him four times while he reached for it. As she narrates the story to the audience, she moves the camera across to show Castile, bloody and losing consciousness, and the cop – still.

After the woman live streamed the incident, police handcuffed her and bundled her to the station as she calls on her Facebook followers to pray to Jesus for her boyfriend’s life. This the second deadly US police shooting in two days.

The deaths follow a long line of high-profile incidents involving African-Americans at the hands of the police, igniting a national debate about the lethal use of force.

The incident took place in Falcon Heights, Minnesota, near Minneapolis.
