Aisha Jumwa discloses how much jubilee wanted to bribe her

Kilifi Woman Representative Aisha Jumwa has revealed that Jubilee leaders begged and even tried to bribe her to get her join the coalition. 

According to Jumwa, the party gave her KSh 20 million to leave ODM. In a video (embeded below), the MP said Jubilee agents have been pleading with her to ditch Orange Democratic Movement (ODM).

Disclosing she is worth more than just money, the woman said she declined the KSh 20 million. She says the money didn’t move her as it was something less than what she spends when going for outings. Jumwa said:

“Ati wanaona Aisha Jumwa anatishwa na pesa wakafanya hesabu ati  20 million kuninunua.”

The angry MP added that she couldn’t fall like their selfish counterparts in Coast region, citing Gideon Mungaro Kilifi North MP, who recently decamped to Jubilee.

ODM has experience a series of setbacks in recent times with a good number of l leaders especially in the Western region leaving the party.

Former ODM Secretary-General Ababu Namwamba and Funyula MP Paul Otuoma are some of the high-profile members of the party from the region looking to set up a new party that will compete with Raila Odinga’s dominance in the region.

The politicians cited dictatorship on the part of Raila Odinga. Many, however, have criticized the move, including AFC leopards fans, who cursed Abubu in a song composed just for him.

Butere MP, Andrew Toboso, on the other hand, said Budalangi MP Ababu Namwamba is aiming to fulfill his selfish interest, not Luhya unity.

The National Assembly member, through an article published by The Star on Friday, July 16, said he doubts Budalangi MP Ababu Namwamba’s claim that he is fighting for the Luhya unity.
