Kanye West, famously known for calling himself “Yeezus” has been depicted as Jesus Christ and labeled a false idol for his flawed human ways.
The multi-award winning rapper who refers to himself as being a God and has rapped about talking to Jesus as he sees himself as one of the few people truly capable of saving the world through his ideas has been made a mockery of by an artist who aims to make a point.
Kanye West: False Idol
The golden statue of Kanye West named ‘False Idol’, first appeared in Los Angeles, Hollywood Boulevard and La Brea Avenue on Wednesday. It depicts the crucifixion of Jesus in a full image of Kanye west made of gold, the statue was also wearing a pair of Yeezy’s and 2 gold chains (one of which is a Jesus piece).

The sculpture was made by an artist by the name Plastic Jesus. He explained that the statue represents Kanye West’s recent fall from grace over the past couple of months. It was publically clear that Kanye was going through a phase where things seemed to have been going one direction while he was going the other way.
Here is what Plastic Jesus had to say about Kanye:
”He’s a genius at writing and producing but he’s not a God, and that’s where we put him. Until there’s an issue in his life or a hiccup in his career, then we crucify him. We’ve seen it before with people like Britney Spears or Lindsay Lohan. The same people who put him into a God-like place are the same yapping at his heels for a piece of flesh when something happens.”
Plastic Jesus was not the only artist who worked on False Idol. It was brought to our attention that the head of False Idol was made by the same artist who rolled out the naked Donald Trump sculptures ‘Ginger’.
More On Kanye: DONDA To Rival Kylie Jenner
With the success of Kylie Jenner’s investment in the cosmetic world, Kanye West has gained interest in tapping some profits from that marketing, giving Kylie Jenner a run for her money under his creative concept company – DONDA.
For those who don’t know, Donda is Kanye’s mother’s name who passed away in 2007 due to heart disease. Here is a tweet he shared a year ago regarding the DONDA brand:
