VIDEO: Goons Caught On Camera Robbing House in Nairobi

Did you ever see the movie Ocean’s Eleven featuring George Clooney and Brad Pitt?

That movie, as well as its sequels Oceans Twelve and Oceans Thirteen, have long decamped to cable TV, but it definitely is one of the best movies about intelligence in daylight crimes and how con men and thieves make away with huge fortunes, while somehow managing to elude every high tech security device known to man, as well as the long arm of the law.

In Kenya, crimes as gigantic as the Ocean’s Eleven are not the norms, but even the simple daylight crimes ranging robbery and housebreaking to picking pockets can sometimes reveal just how smart some thieves can get.

But it is also true that sometimes, even thugs forget their brains at home during such pilfering. Or could it be that gluttony usually take their senses away?

This is the exact question that these two burglars might have to answer after they effortlessly broke into a house in Nairobi and stole things without taking notice of the hidden cameras within the building.

Unaware of security cameras, they did not bother to hide their faces, which are now all over social media after the owner of the house released it.

In the CCTV footage, one robber who donned a striped shirt and a grey pair of jeans could be seen entering the apartment. After a short examination, he probably decided there were plenty to loot and couldn’t cart them all alone. Then he called in the second suspect while standing at the gate of the apartment complex.

His accomplice walked in a few moments later dressed in black jeans and a t-shirt.

The first suspect is then seen stepping out with a backpack on his back apparently to drop his first loots. Moments later, he walked back into the house to gather some more.

Afterwards, the CCTV cameras placed outside the vandalized apartment captures the two suspects carrying a flat screen TV and other expensive electronics as they leave in a huff.

Reports say the robbery was carried out in under five minutes.

Police are now asking the public to help find the men in connection with a brazen daylight robbery of  a house in Roysambu on August 2nd
