“Mimi sio Mtu Wa Debate I’m good at Development….Barabara hazijengwi kwa debate.Wakenya wanahitaji good roads and that’s my ideology.”
“I am not good at debates. I’m good at Development. Roads are not built in debates. Kenyans need good roads and that’s my ideology.”
The post quickly garnered views, shares and reactions from Kenyans. At the time of this writing, the post has generated over 33,200 views, over 3,400 reactions and over 150 shares.
Sonko’s Post-Debate Reaction:
Miguna and incumbent Evans Kidero both took jabs at Sonko at yesterday’s debate organised by KTN and held at Daystar University.
Miguna said Sonko was clueless and thought that revenues fall from heaven. He also called Sonko a mediocre politician who didn’t have what it takes to rule Nairobi.
Sonko attacked back, calling Miguna a mad man who used to break walls with his head.
“You used to break houses, I have evidence, remove the cap if you don’t have a deep panga cut on your head,” Sonko told Miguna.
Incumbent Evans Kidero also attacked Sonko by referring to Sonko’s time in Shimo La Tewa prison Kidero. “I have never been jailed; I have never escaped from any prison,” Kidero said.
Sonko defended himself by pinpointing some of his achievements, among them the Sonko Rescue team which he said has been of immense help to Kenyans.
Most the comments of Sonko’s Post-debate Facebook post were positive. Here are some;
