Music Legend Stevie Wonder Set To Tie The Knot For The Third Time

Legendary Motown musician Stevie Wonder is reportedly set to get married for the third time.

The 67-year-old superstar is set to wed his third wife, Tomeeka Robyn Bracy, in a star-studded beachside ceremony in Jamaica on June 17.

Tomeeka, who is the mother of Stevie’s two youngest children, has been dating her kids’ father since 2012 after he split from his second wife.

According to multiple reports, the 42-year-old woman will be marrying the ‘Isn’t She Lovely’ singer in front of both family and friends. Stevie’s other children are expected to play supporting roles as both bridesmaids and groom’s men.

The wedding is expected to be an A-List event, befitting to Stevie’s status as the music industry’s living legend. The invite list is rumored to include his close friend Sir Elton John, as well as Beyonce and Jay-Z and Sam Smith.

One guest who spoke to the Daily Mail said:

“It is going to be a huge, incredibly fun wedding and Stevie is flying out all his nearest and dearest. The guest list is pretty spectacular, and there will be a couple of surprise performances on the night.”

“Stevie has said he may well get up and perform a number but hasn’t said what song yet. There will be a huge party afterwards as well, and the whole day will be about love, laughter, and family. Stevie is very close to his, and they will all have a role to play on the big day.”

Stevie Wonder, who has been blind from a young age, will sign the wedding papers using two fingerprints. His wife to be will pen her signature on the official certificate traditionally.

It is also believed that the couple has signed a prenup of which the terms have not been made public.

Stevie Wonder’s Previous Marriages

Stevie was first married to Motown singer Syreeta Wright from 1970 until their amicable divorce in 1972. His second attempt at marriage was with fashion designer Kai Millard in 2001. The pair separated in 2009 with Wonder filing for divorce 3 years later in 2012.

The 22-time Grammy Award winner has nine children from five different women. His eldest is Aisha Morris, from his relationship with Yolanda Simmons whom he met when she applied for a job at his publishing company.

Stevie and Aisha have performed together on numerous occasions of which he also says is the inspiration for his hit single Isn’t She Lovely.
