Jubilee Party politicians from Kiambu and Central Kenya who won nominations to contest the August 8 general elections have been accused of using black magic.
According to a story done by Kameme TV, a Tanzanian witch doctor by the name Sarbil Mohamed helped a number of politicians from the party to win nominations. Sarbil was also quoted as saying that it was not a secret that majority of politicians seek help from people like him during the election period.
He named Kiambu, Murang’a, Kirinyaga and Machakos as the counties who sought after him mostly.
“During Jubilee nominations, top politicians from the above counties sought my help, they are housing me here in Mombasa until August when the general election will be held,” said Mohamed.
In the video which was posted to Facebook, Mohamed said every politician from Kiambu that he treated got the certificate noting that they contributed the money to cater for his expenses.
“The politicians from Kiambu, Murang’a, Kirinyaga and Murang’a seeking different seats sought my help and I treated them to win, I am in the country courtesy of them and I will leave the country once they win the general election.”
Video Of The Tanzanian Witch Doctor
Black magic use during elections in East Africa especially Tanzania is not a new development. Another Tanzanian witch doctor called Manyaunyau has publicly admitted to helping a number of politicians in the country.
The witch doctor refused to name the politicians using his services but was willing to speak about how many requesting them during election season.
“Most of my clients are members of parliament and also ministers.”
“When the election comes, this is when us witchdoctors get a lot of respect, as all these politicians come running to us.”
Kenyans on Social Media have reacted angrily to the video which has been widely shared. They say the leaders who are underrating the power of almighty God will fail come August.
