Most countries require a visa for entry with your Tanzania passport; however, there are some visa-free countries that will grant you entry for a specified amount of days or sometimes even months without a visa. While Tanzanians\u00a0need a visa to enter almost all countries, there are some nations whose citizens can travel almost anywhere without any restriction.<\/p>\n

The Henley & Partners Visa Restrictions Index is a global ranking of visa-free countries according to the travel freedom that their citizens enjoy. Henley & Partners has analyzed the visa regulations of all the countries and territories in the world and created an index which ranks countries according to the visa-free access their citizens enjoy to other countries. In the case of Tanzania, examples of these countries include: Albania, Cook Islands, Djibouti, Dominica, Ethiopia, Ecuador, Fiji, Grenada, Gambia, Georgia, Haiti, Nepal, Namibia, St Lucia, Singapore, Seychelles, Swaziland, Tuvalu, Togo, Trinidad & Tobago, Timor-Leste, Uganda, Vanuatu, Zambia and Zimbabwe.<\/p>\n

It should be, however, noted that some countries within this list will only allow you to stay in their country without a visa for up to around 90 days before a visa is either purchased or you are sent back home.\u00a0It is important to find out before traveling whether you need a visa to enter your destination or transit country.<\/p>\n

Visa is not required for 4 months for Tanzanian nationals.<\/p>\n

3. Micronesia<\/strong><\/p>\n

Visa is not required for a period of 30 days for Tanzanians.<\/p>\n

4. Niue<\/strong><\/p>\n

Visa provided on arrival for 30 days maximum.<\/p>\n

This island country in Polynesia gives entry permits on arrival for a 60-day period.<\/p>\n

9. Vanuatu<\/strong><\/p>\n

Visa is not required for a 30 day period at this South Pacific Ocean nation made up of about 80 islands.<\/p>\n

Disputed\/Unrecognized Countries<\/strong><\/h3>\n

1. Northern Cyprus<\/strong><\/p>\n

This country,\u00a0recognized only by Turkey but considered to be part of the Republic of Cyprus by the international community, comprises of the northeastern portion of the island of Cyprus and does not require a visa.<\/p>\n
